Project Overview

Midhurst Granite needed a catalogue that showcased its stone selection and introduced an expanded product line as a proud distributor of A. Lacroix Granit. The piece had to present the range clearly for sales conversations, from natural stone to dimensional, pre-cut products.

I designed a 38-page print catalogue at regular magazine size, with bleed, as an editorial sales piece. The work was completed as a freelance designer through SocialSquared.

Design Approach

The catalogue balances large photography with product detail so a reader can move from the look of the stone to the information needed in a conversation. Natural and dimensional sections are kept distinct so the expanded line is easy to navigate.

Editorial structure
Sections distinguish natural stone from dimensional, pre-cut products so readers always know which kind of material they are looking at.
Format
Thirty-eight pages at regular magazine size, set up for print with bleed.
Visual pacing
Full-image moments give the publication scale, with denser product and finish pages in between.

Applications

  • 38-page editorial catalogue, print with bleed, regular magazine size
  • Natural stone and dimensional product sections
  • Colour and finish presentation
  • Print-ready files

Outcome

The finished catalogue gives Midhurst Granite a printed showcase of its selection and the Lacroix line it now distributes. A sales conversation can move from a photograph of the stone to the product detail without changing documents.
